    The team at Empty Homes North West are pleased to highlight the
    important steps taken by Bolton Council\u2019s Empty Homes Team in recent years.

      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tProgress in Action Bolton Council has announced that:\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201cFour properties will be brought back into use before the\nend of the year, with a further 11 in the pipeline using this\nfunding.\u201d\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis work is being funded through a \u00a3540,000 government grant aimed\nat returning empty homes\u2014particularly in the social housing sector\u2014back\ninto meaningful use.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTargeted engagement with property owners<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
      • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCoordinating enforcement where homes are affecting local communities<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
      • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIdentifying opportunities to strengthen the council's powers<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201cWe will be looking at further opportunities for\naugmentations, which should be made amongst the\nvarious powers the council has available.\u201d\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThese include tools like EDMOs, CPOs, and enhanced partnership working.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWith over 4,419 unoccupied and unfurnished\nproperties across Bolton (1,040+ of which are long-term empty), this kind\nof strategic, person-led approach is exactly what’s needed to reduce\nvacancy, increase housing supply, and uplift neighbourhoods.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
